Commissioning Engineer – Electro‑Mechanical & PC‑Based Control Systems
Location: Bray | Onsite with nationwide travel | Safegard (Part of Swegon Group)

Are you a skilled technical professional who enjoys hands‑on work, solving problems, and delivering high‑quality engineering onsite? We’re looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting, varied role involving commissioning electro‑mechanical and embedded computer‑based control systems across Ireland and occasionally the UK/Europe.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out planned commissioning visits to customer sites

• Install and complete final terminations for field devices

• Perform Cause & Effect programming on PC-based control systems

• Conduct site surveys and commissioning resource planning

• Produce clear reports documenting all site activities

• Represent Safegard professionally while delivering exceptional customer service

 What You Bring:

• Electrical or IT qualification (trade / diploma / degree)

• Experience in electrical commissioning or electrical site work

• Strong computer literacy, including Windows and Microsoft Office

• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently

• Strong communication and customer‑focused approach

• Full clean driving licence

Education & Qualifications:

• Electrical/IT qualification or Electrical experience

• Full clean driving licence

Desirable: SafePass, BMS/BAS knowledge, fire alarm understanding, enhanced PC skills.
